About Origin

Origin Minsitries USA is an evangelistic ministry which exists to support Christian outreach and worship ministry through our partner ministries in Edinburgh, Scotland and Cape Town, South Africa. We are a department of Artists in Christian Testimony Itnl. We are dedicated to international mission, reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to promoting unity in the church through praise and worship events in both Europe and Africa. Through our partners, Origin is a promoter and organiser of Christian events, and provides services to churches in Scotland and South Africa in worship events, praise events, outreach events and event consultancy. Christian events are what we know best, through the Exile Band, the Exile Choir the Exile Chamber Orchestra and the Cape Town Gospel Choir. OUR PASSION is to see people reached with the love of Christ, and to see the church of Christ working together in unity for the sake of the Kingdom.
OUR VISION is to work together with churches to realise "common ground evangelism" to see lives changed and God glorified.

Formerly the European Director of AIM International (Africa Inland Mission), John Brand is a well-known preacher and Christian leader in the UK and in parts of Africa. He is currently principal of the Edinburgh Bible College.

Michael Ots

Michael Ots

Michael is an evangelist who travels throughout Europe, speaking at universities and explaining the truth and relevance of the Christian faith. He is passionate about helping students and others to share what they believe in a way which is both credible and respectful. His first book What Kind of God? was shortlisted for a national award and translated into Romanian, Serbian and Korean. Michael studied in Scotland, lives in England, and is married to Rebecca, an airline pilot.

Camp Kirkland is a world-leading arranger/producer/conductor from Nashville, TN, having been in the music industry for over 40 years. His thousands of arrangements and recordings are heard every week in almost any venue you can imagine from Carnegie Hall to many different houses of worship.

Basis of Faith

  • the Divine inspiration, authority, sufficiency and total inerrancy of the Holy Scriptures
  • the right and duty of private judgement in the interpretation of the Holy Scriptures
  • the unity of the Godhead and the Trinity of Persons therein
  • the total depravity of human nature in consequence of the Fall
  • the incarnation of the Son of God; His work of atonement for the sins of mankind and His mediatorial intercession and reign
  • the justification of the sinner by faith alone
  • regeneration and sanctification by the Holy Spirit
  • the immortality of the soul, the resurrection of the body, the judgement of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ with the eternal blessedness of the righteous and the eternal punishment of the wicked

Origin South Africa was founded in 2005 as a daughter ministry of Origin Scotland and has since grown into a strong ministry in Cape Town, founding the Cape Town Gospel Choir and holding praise and worship and outreach events all over the city.
