Origin Scotland is pleased to announce a 15th anniversary celebration concert at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh on Saturday 1 December 2012 at 7.30pm.
Over the last fifteen years Origin has staged over 140 concerts in the UK and South Africa in aid of unity in the church and outreach. An amazing 40 of these have been large-scale in venues such as the Edinburgh Playhouse, Usher Hall and Edinburgh Festival Theatre - and all this without a single paid staff member.
Origin's team of volunteers, comprising hundreds of singers, musicians, technicians and administrators have worked together in aid of the ministry, and to raise funds for causes such as the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh and the Beautiful Gate AIDS Baby Clinic in Cape Town.
This year's concert has a special anniversary feel to it, including not only some of the most popular carols for audience participation, but also some of the best music our band, choir and orchestras have performed down the years.
