Origin Scotland's annual Christmas concert at the Usher Hall has become a bit of a Christmas tradition. But it's never the same two years in a row. Sure, the carols overlap somewhat (I mean, what would Christmas be like without harking angels?) but the choir, band and orchestra along with some superb soloists genuinely do present a fresh programme each time.
Light of the World is also unusual in that it mixes professional and amateur singers and players, which allows excellent experience for younger musicians without sacrificing on the quality of the presentation.
